Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship brings more to Kansas City

Big12GameKansas City will welcome the best basketball in the country as the 2015 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship comes to town. When we say “best basketball in the country,” we actually mean it. This year, the Big 12 Conference has been the toughest, strongest and most entertaining to watch.

Here’s some supporting facts for this claim:

Eight of 10 teams have been ranked in the top 25 this season
The Big 12 holds the nation’s best non-conference record
The Big 12 has ranked as the top conference in the RPI and Sagarin Ratings
Half of the 14 teams in the nation with the most wins over top 25 opponents are from the Big 12
As of March 4, 52 of the last 58 Big 12 games have included at least one nationally ranked team

Big12GameDaySo, there is no doubt the brand of basketball for this year’s championship will be the best with an anticipated seven of 10 conference teams making the NCAA postseason.
