The “College Basketball Capital of America” will live up to its reputation as March bounces into Kansas City
By Cindy Smith, Vice President of Business & Partner Development
Four major basketball tournaments will soon converge on Kansas City, playing more college games during March than any other city. Sixty games over three weeks, that incorporate many other events that don’t require a ticket to enjoy including: a youth reading and fitness challenge, Fan Fests, free concerts, and Kansas City’s Inaugural Big 12 5K Fun Run & Family Stroll. You can register for the 5K run on Saturday, March 16 until race morning.
One of the city’s precious jewels, The College Basketball Experience (CBE) and National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame will offer extended hours during the month. Show your Big 12 ticket during the CBE’s published hours at the CBE Box Office inside the Sprint Center lobby and save $2 on regular admission from March 13-16.
