
Kansas City Sports Host Committee (KCSHC)
The Kansas City Sports Host Committee has played a vital role in helping the Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation host major sporting events. The KCSHC comprises some 200 volunteers dedicated to serving as ambassadors to fans, guests, conferences, sports organizations and corporations in fulfilling the necessary services to ensure all visitors have a positive memorable experience during their stay in Kansas City.
Services may include but are not limited to the following areas:
Fan Fest - provides volunteer support for a Fan Fest tied to the specific event; volunteer staffing of interactive areas, fan zones and information booths and VIP ticketed functions.
Transportation - drives shuttle vans from designated hotel properties to the Sprint Center and Municipal Auditorium and back to the hotels for VIP and media personnel also assigned airport pick-ups and returns. Drivers must be 25 years old with a valid driver’s license.
Become a Volunteer
If you would be interested in volunteering, please select your preferred volunteer (job)s above. Volunteers are asked to serve a minimum of two shifts. Every effort will be made to fulfill your requested assignment. However, we hope that you will understand if we need to place you where you are needed most. Volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt and be invited to a Thank You volunteer party following the event. A committee chair will contact you to confirm your assignment and answer questions you may have.
