This Mother's Day, celebrate with the women of KC Express at Kansas City's only race exclusively for women and girls. Bring the whole family out to enjoy our upbeat run/walk, kids' activities, and post-race refreshments. Participants love our women's cut t-shirts, finisher's keepsakes, decorated port-a-pots, and entertaining on-course posters.

Race information and awards

The Mother's Day 5K is run on a flat and fast, USATF-certified course in Corporate Woods, a wooded office park in Overland Park, KS. We use chip timing and we offer cash prizes for top overall finishers, as well as generous awards for age group winners.

The Mother's Day 5K is hosted by Kansas City Express, a running and walking club for women. Our members are women of all ages, sizes, shapes, colors, creeds and speeds. We are fitness walkers, competitive runners, beginners, veterans, and everything in between. Together we work to:

• Promote women's fitness through running and walking
• Provide a local running/walking network and support group for women of all ages and fitness levels
• Direct a top-notch 5K race, the all-women's Mother's Day 5K
