The Navtivity 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is open to all ages, adults and children! So come out and join us at the Church of Nativity for a fun filled day!

                    **T-shirt sizes may not be guaranteed if registering after May 7.

5K and 1 Mile Fun run day schedule

7:30-8:30am    Packet Pickup & Late Registration in Nativity Parish School Gym                           
9:00am             5K Start (following 8:15 Mass) - 1 Mile Fun Run starting approximately 10 minutes after 5K
9:30am             Pancake Breakfast
10:30am          Awards Ceremony

(NPS student participants will have packets sent home in backpacks on Thursday, May 12)

Family teams

To register as a family team, follow these easy steps:

1. The "head" or "captain" of the team will log in to the registration or create an account. (You must have an account if you are creating a team.)
2. Continue to the second page of registration and select "Yes, I want to create a team".
3. Fill out your team name, select "Family Team" in the Team Type box and plug in the number of family members that will be joining your team. Select if you would like to participate in the 5K or the 1 Mile Fun Run.
4. Continue to the end of registration if you are the only registrant that will be on this order. If you would like to add more registrants to this order, please select the "Add Another Participant" button on the page prior to the payment section at the bottom of the screen.
5. Fill out the next participants information and continue to the 2nd page. Select "Yes, I want to join a team" and find your team name. Select a sub event.
6. Continue this process for however many registrants you may have on your order.

post race awards and events

Nativity music teacher, Mr. Needleman and his band, "The Mikey Needleman's Band" in the lower NPS parking lot or school gym depending on the weather. The Knights of Columbus will provide a pancake breakfast to all race entrants. Awards ceremony and raffle drawing will begin at 10:30am outside in the lower NPS lot pending good weather.

about the Nativity 5k run/walk, 1 mile fun run

The Nativity 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run is an annual fundraising event aimed at raising health and wellness for our parish, the Nativity Parish School and in the community. Created and hosted by the Church of Nativity and Nativity Parish School, this yearly event offers an opportunity for our parishioners, parents, students, and the community to come together and raise funds that help support important ministries in our community and beyond.

Proceeds will go towards promoting health and wellness at Nativity Parish School, Catholic Education Foundation (CEF), and the Arch Bishops Call to Share.

volunteers

Nativity 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run would not be possible if it weren't for volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Angie Koetting at nativityfunrun@gmail.com.

parking & weather

Parking will be available in the upper NPS and Church lots. The lower Church and NPS school lots will be closed. Please consider walking to the event.

In the event of inclement weather, the run/walk will be cancelled however the Nativity Knights will still host a pancake breakfast in the school cafeteria starting at 9 am and Mikey Needleman's Band will perform in the school gym. We can plan to dance and celebrate good health and wellness in our Parish and community! No refunds.

safety

First aid is available throughout the event at the tent located in the NPS lower parking lot. If you need assistance on the course, please contact and event volunteer.

No pets, bicycles, skateboards or scooters will be allowed on the course or at any race day activities.

only the 5k participants will be timed. if you are registered to be timed in the 5k please wear your bib and timing chip & return it at the finish line.

All participants should wear their bib numbers.
