Featuring the best race breakfast in town!

Everyone loves Santa, so who wouldn't love hundreds of running/walking Santas? Be a part of the 3rd Annual Kansas City Great Santa Run and dress up like the jolly old guy and let's have a race.

The Great Santa Run has teamed up with the KC Chef's Association to bring you the "BEST RACE BREAKFAST IN KC." The KC Chef's Association will prepare a hot breakfast that will go down in race breakfast history, don't miss this! All participants receive a free meal ticket. If you want to bring guests, please purchase extra meal tickets for $5/ ticket. All 100% of meal ticket sales will be donated to Operation Breakthrough.

The one thing Santa does every year is bring children gifts. In Kansas City thousands of children go without, so be a Santa and bring a $10 unopened, unwrapped toy to be given to local children at Operation Breakthrough.

Participants are not required to run/walk in a Santa suit.

When:    Sunday, December 4, 2011
Time:     9:00am
Where:  Start and Finish outside the Johnson County Community College gym. It will loop the campus and finish back where it started. Benefits of the race include:

  • Indoor space before and after the race

Race Morning at Johnson County Community College:

  • Sunday, December 4 - 8:00am to 9:00am

Costume Contest:
All holiday themed costumed runners will be eligble for additional prizes and giveaways at the post race costume contest.

Age Groups:
Awards will be given to first, second and third males and females in each age group:

11- 14                15-19         20-24         
25-29                 30-34         35-39       
40-44                 45-49         50-54       
55-59                 60-64         65-69         
70-74                 75+

Awards not picked up after the race can be picked up at Garry Gribble's Running Sports at the 119th and Quivira Store after 12/5.

Results will be posted at www.kcrunningcompany.com.

*If the race has to be called off due to weather, no refunds will be given and the race will not be rescheduled.
