The overall first place male and female will receive a plaque and a girft certificate.
First through third place in each age category (13 & under, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+) will receive a 22nd anniversary commemorative medal. Prize drawings will be held after the race, immediately following the awards presentation.

The 22nd Annual Labor Day 5K Run/Walk , presented by the Leawood Parks and Recreation Department and Pepsi-Cola.  This event is part of the Mid-Amierca Running Association Grand Prix Series and a winner of Favorite Course presented by the KC Sports Commission.  Whether you're a veteran runner, a beginner, a wheelchair athlete, or even a walker, this event is for you!

The race begins at 7:30 am.  Immediately following the race, join us at the Lion's Shelter for post-race awards and an "all-you-can-eat" pancake breakfast provided by the Leawood Lion's Club (breakfast ticket included with race fees, additional tickets for guests $5 per person).
