Same Day Registration - In the case that you miss online registration, same day registration will be available starting at 7:30am. **Please note very limited supplies/sizes of t-shirts will be available after August 23rd, so we encourage you to register early!

Maggi's walk

Bacterial Meningitis can take a life in less than a day or cause loss of sight, hearing, limbs, brain function and even more. It took Maggi's legs 5 years ago. Please join us to raise awareness of meningitis and how it can be prevented in the ones you love. Funds raised will give survivors hope and assistance with medical, prosthetic or other related care; Maggi's Foundation is a non-profit 501(C)3.

Late registraion at packet pickup - $25

Parking

At the event site parking is limited to one small lot and on the street parking. To accommodate a greater number of participants, a shuttle is available starting at 7:15am via Kansas City Christian School at 4801 W. 79th St, Prairie Village, KS 66208. If you plan to utilize the shuttle, please drop your passengers off at the event site prior to parking and riding the shuttle.

The walk will take place rain or shine. As this is a fundraiser, refunds will not be available to participants. In case of severe weather, Maggi's Foundation reserves the right to cancel for the safety of the participants. Please arrive early to allow for parking.

Maggi’s Walk 2012 is currently in need of the following items to assist with the walk:
•        Food: 250 bottles of water, 40 bananas, 40 apples, 150 granola bars, raisin boxes, juice boxes
•        Postage for mailers, roll tickets, bags for packet pickup
•        Sound system (2 speakers on a tripod stand, a power amp, microphone, music player, & mixer)
•        $20-$25 gift cards to local businesses for prizes.
