Join us for our 2nd Annual Strut for the Streaks 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 8 a.m.  This fun, easy, and enjoyable certified course begins at the Blue Valley Rec Complex and makes its way through the beautiful streets of Southern Johnson County.  The 5K event will use timing chips and results will be available after the race.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Blue Valley Blue Streaks, our local Special Olympics team.

Race Start Time: 5K - 8:00 a.m. & 1 Mile Fun Run - 8:05 a.m.

Race Start Location: Blue Valley Recreation Complex - East Fields (9701 W. 137th St.)

5K participants receive:

• Certified Course
• Chip timing
• A short sleeve tech T-shirt
• A post-race breakfast (additional breakfast tickets for guests will be available to purchase)
• Awards for top overall performance, masters, and 5-year age groups

Registration fees will not be refunded or transfered.

A portion of the proceeds go to Blue Valley Blue Streaks, our local Special Olympics team.

Packet pickup will be at the Garry Gribble’s Running Sports at 11908 W. 119th Street Friday, Oct. 5 from 3-6 p.m.
You can also pick up your packet on the day of the event at the East Concessions (9701 W. 137th Street) at 7 a.m.

 Awards will be given out to the top male/female overall performance and masters winners and to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories:
