Charity partner

Our charity partner for the event is Happy Bottoms, Kansas City's diaper bank.  Happy Bottoms acquires diapers through financial and in-kind donations from individuals and groups and provides them to area low income families with the help of more than a dozen partner agencies such as Mattie Rhodes, Hope House, Operation Breakthrough, ReStart, and others.  The need for diapers remains an overlooked yet fundamental area for help despite today’s best outreach efforts as safety-net programs such as SNAP (food stamps) and WIC (Women Infants and Children) don’t cover the purchase of diapers.   Learn more about this great organization at www.happybottoms.org.

A portion of the proceeds of the event will go towards Happy Bottoms mission and we ask that everyone participating in the event consider donating a package of diapers at packet pickup or on race morning!

Results will be posted at www.kcrunningcompany.com  If the race has to be called off due to weather no refunds will be given.
