TRIATHLON TRAINING RESOURCES

Listed below are some great opportunities to help you prepare for our race!  These opportunities are hosted by some of our great partners in the community and we encourage you to take advantage of them as you prepare to cross the finish line.


Beginners Triathlon Forum
presented by Coast to Coast Triathlon and hosted by Epic Bike and Sport

You will leave this forum with a tremendous amount of resources to help you prepare for this years race.  The forum will be conducted by Ryan Ross, head coach at Coast to Coast Triathlon.  Ryan is a USA Triathlon Level 2 Certified Coach and an IRONMAN Certified Coach.  You can reach Ryan via email at ryan@coasttocoasttriathlon.com

Tri Training Kickoff

Platte County YMCA – Adult Triathlon Training

The Tri-Training Group meets Thursday evenings to practice and train for local Kansas City triathlons.  First session is an orientation meeting and the first training session will be held at Platte County Community Center South.  The first session will include a one-mile run and a 30 minute swim.  For more information or questions please contact Paula Flynn at 816.505.2622 or Jodi at JodiRuskievicz@KansasCityYMCA.org.  Register by calling the YMCA in Parkville at 816.505.2622.

Triathlon 101 & 102
Presented by the coaches at the Triathlon 101 & 102 for Women Clinic

Dates: June 5 – July 24 (Monday evenings)
Time: 6 p.m.
Location: Longview Lake Beach, 11101 Raytown Road, Kansas City, MO 64134
Cost: Triathlon 101 – $140 (plus $15 USAT fee), Triathlon 102 – $100 (plus $15 USAT fee)
Lake Swim Fee: Bring $4 EACH Monday to be paid by participant to Parks & Rec. for entry into the swim beach.
