I-35 CHALLENGE

Two RACES - two cITIES - TWO STATES - one EPIC WEEKEND

The Garmin Kansas City Marathon and IMT Des Moines Marathon have partnered to offer the I-35 Challenge! Participants can do any of the following combination of events to complete the I-35 Challenge:

Full Marathon in Kansas City + Full Marathon in Des Moines
Full Marathon in Kansas City + Half Marathon in Des Moines
Half Marathon in Kansas City + Full Marathon in Des Moines
Half Marathon in Kansas City + Half Marathon in Des Moines

In addition to the individual race participant items from both the Garmin Kansas City Marathon and the IMT Des Moines Marathon, all I-35 Challenge participants will receive an additional challenge-branded commemorative item and separate finisher medal.

New this year, I-35 Challengers do not need to register for the KC Marathon and Des Moines Marathon separately, instead simply register using the link below. If you have already registered for the KCM and DM races separately, please email info@sportkc.org to gain access to the I-35 challenge
