Nichole Robinson serves as Director of Business Development & National Events for the Kansas City Sports Commission (KCSC), where she leads efforts to identify, bid on, and host major sporting events that enhance the quality of life and drive economic impact across Greater Kansas City.
Since joining KCSC in 2017, Robinson has played a key role in hosting numerous high-profile events, including the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championships, 2024 NCAA Wrestling Championships, NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Midwest Regionals (2019 and 2023), U.S. Gymnastics Championships, the NFL Kickoff, and the 2023 NFL Draft. She has worked closely with the Big 12 Conference on the Men’s Basketball Championship since 2018 and the Women’s Basketball Championship since 2020.
Prior to KCSC, Robinson served as Director of Championships and Sport Administration for the West Coast Conference.
A former collegiate volleyball student-athlete, Robinson played at the University of Central Florida, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Event Management. She later completed her MBA at Loyola University Chicago while competing on the university’s women’s volleyball team.
