Lily graduated from the University of Kansas in 2026 with a Master of Science in Education after earning her undergraduate degree in Journalism with a minor in Sports Management in 2024. Lily joined the Kansas City Sports Commission after completing two years as a graduate assistant with Kansas Athletics.

During her time at Kansas, she worked primarily with Olympic sports programs, including volleyball, softball, swimming and diving, rowing, and cross country. She served as the Sports Information Director for these teams while simultaneously ensuring a smooth process for all media relations responsibilities. Her work included writing sport-specific press releases, game notes, and record books, coordinating media interviews, and serving as the primary point of contact for each program on game days. Lily also oversaw social media strategy and content objectives across multiple platforms for the softball program and assisted in supporting the Kansas volleyball team during its Sweet 16 run.

Her favorite part about working with Kansas Athletics was building meaningful relationships with student-athletes and helping tell their stories through strategic communications and social media.

Outside of work, Lily enjoys running, trying new restaurants, cooking, and spending time with family whenever she can. She is also a passionate fan of the Green Bay Packers.
