Cameron joined the Kansas City Sports Commission as an Events Fellow in August 2025. He moved into his role as an Events Coordinator in August 2026. Cameron works closely with all teams within the organization, including Local and National Events, Marketing and Communications, and WIN for KC.

Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, Cameron completed his Bachelor's of Music Education at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln in 2021, where he spent four years as a member of the Cornhusker Marching Band. After graduation, he spent three years in the Omaha area teaching high school music, directing six vocal and instrumental ensembles. He then returned to the Kansas City area and completed his Master's in Sports Management and Administration at the University of Kansas in 2025, joining the Sports Commission shortly after graduation.

His experience includes freelance work with several professional sports franchises, including the Kansas City Current, Kansas City Royals, Kansas City Mavericks, and Kansas City Monarchs, among others. He spent time in the Kansas Athletics facilities department, gaining firsthand insight to the planning and coordination required for successful large-scale sporting events. He was previously a Sports Commission volunteer, which introduced him to the organization and the impact it has on the region.

Cameron is an avid fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas Jayhawks, as well as the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. He is a proud Vegas Golden Knights fan and plays hockey in his spare time, and can be found in the audio booth at CPKC Stadium and Cable Dahmer Arena for many events. When he isn't working or cheering on his teams, Cameron is often on the running trail, trying out new restaurants, or spending time with his girlfriend, Mary.
