Results from the most current race will not be finalized until the Wednesday following the race. This is to ensure accurate information & placement for all Garmin Kansas City Marathon participants.

FINISHER MEDAL

Every participant of the Garmin Kansas City Marathon will be receive an official KCM finisher medal. The stunning 2025 medal featured the iconic KC Marathon fountain logo on a spinning “Heart of Kansas City” inside a black Garmin watch-inspired medal. The 2026 medals will be unveiled as we get closer to race day. Stay tuned!

Full Marathon

• 1st place overall male, female & non-binary: $600 Garmin gift card & custom award

• 2nd place overall male & female: $400 Garmin gift card & custom award

• 3rd place overall male & female: $200 Garmin gift card & custom award

Half Marathon

• 1st place overall male, female & non-binary: $300 Garmin gift card & custom award

• 2nd place overall male & female: $200 Garmin gift card & custom award

• 3rd place overall male & female: $100 Garmin gift card & custom award

10K

• 1st place overall male, female & non-binary: Custom award

• 2nd place overall male & female: Custom award

• 3rd place overall male & female: Custom award

5K

• 1st place overall male, female & non-binary: Custom award

• 2nd place overall male & female: Custom award

AGE GROUP AWARDS

*Overall event winners are excluded from age group awards. Age group awards will be awarded by chip time.

Awards will be given to the top 3 Male & top 3 Female finishers in each of the following age groups:

5K: 14 & Under / 15-19 / 20-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70-74 / 75-79 / 80 & Over

10K: 14 & Under / 15-19 / 20-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50-54 / 55-59 / 60-64 / 65-69 / 70-74 / 75-79 / 80 & Over

MASTERS AWARDS

Masters Awards (age 40+) will be given to the top male & top female finisher in each race distance.

*Masters event winners are excluded from age group awards. Participants cannot win multiple awards.
