packet pickup

We highly urge participants to please make arrangements for their packet to be picked up at Chicken N Pickle in Overland Park Wednesday before the race.  This is the best option to avoid delays on race morning and ensure a smooth event for everyone.  Friends and family members are able to pick up packets for each other. If picking up for someone else, please have their confirmation number ready to avoid any delays.

Race Day Packet pickup

If your only option is to pick your packet up on race morning, please arrive between 7am - 8am.  Please arrive no later than 8am.  The line will be long and will only grow as the start time approaches.  In the best interest of the event and all participants, please get there early!

Children’s Mercy Toy Drive

The Kansas City Sports Commission will also be collecting new, unwrapped toys on behalf of Children’s Mercy at packet pickup and on race day. Toy donations help bring comfort, distraction and joy to children during their hospital stay. Participants can also support patients and families by purchasing items through the Children’s Mercy Amazon Wish List.
